Welcome to the Conejo Council PTA website. I am very excited to be able to represent Conejo Council PTA, as I understand the power that PTA can have in supporting education and helping schools and families develop well-rounded children. It our hope that our members find this website a useful tool to help further the mission of Conejo Council PTA, which simply states, “We are dedicated to support our units (members) so that they can positively impact the lives of children and families”.
In Conejo, we have 18 PTA schools which are comprised of 9 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, 2 high schools, 1 K-8 school, 1 charter school and 1 magnet school. Our executive board come from all over Conejo valley and more often than not, also serve on PTA boards of the schools their children attend. I am very lucky and proud to be serving with these dedicated, and very busy, women and men.
Whether you are a PTA representative from your school, a parent, an administrator or a student, our job at Conejo Council is to ensure that our members have the training, mentoring, information, and guidance they need to be successful leaders and that all laws are being followed so that our units are in compliance with state and federal agencies, and in good standing with California state PTA. Times may be hard but we are here to help our units thrive regardless.
If you have not already done so, please consider becoming a member of your school’s PTA. Although we are grateful for any time you can give to volunteer, PTA membership does not mean you have to sign up to help, it can simply be gesture of support, and helps give your school, our community and California State PTA credibility in numbers. Please contact your school for information on individual membership or visit our “Platinum Membership” page for information on becoming a member of all 18 PTA schools in the Conejo Valley.
